Awesome pizza and the salad was fresh and delisious. Many ingredients are local and of very high quality. The owner is pleasant. Small place to eat so we took it go. As they grow they could add more dining space. Some of the best pizza in Green Bay.

Saw all of the 5 stars so I decided to swing through. It is a deli style joint where you place your order at the counter and you seat yourself. The counter help was fantastic, nice and polite. No soda fountain AFAIK but they had a cooler with Blood Orange San Pellegrino, so what else do you need?? Ordered the Hawaiian and it. Some out in about 12 minutes. Piping hot with FRESH pineapple slices on top. I peeped out fresh whole ones at the prep station. The sauce was amazing, the cheese was high quality with a nice moisture content, browned to perfection. The crust was good, but I have had better, not sure if they wood fire or what. An 8/10 though. Amazing sauce. The right amount with the perfect sweetness and proper spices. Great local ham and fresh green peppers. MAGNIFICO! Bought a bunch of cannula (cannoli) that we plan on devouring later. I'm sure they'll be top notch. I noticed come candied citron in the filling so I'm betting they're on point.

Excellent food! We had a large pizza and 2 orders of pasta. The kids loved the pizza! Although the service was friendly, it was very slow. In addition, we wanted to order tap water for the kids but they didn't serve it....I find that strange. Clean amenities.

Fantastic Pizza, great hoagie, good salad. 1st time we tried the special, amazingly heavy on the toppings, very filling. Next we got the Margherita, very nice. I would call it lady-pizza or man snack. It is tasty and light. Last night we got the Hawaiian and it was like someone put Easter ham on a pizza, ah-mazing! Also tried the hoagie and it was great. Got it with the fresh spinach salad, yum. I have not found anyplace in the area that makes a better hoagie. I believe they have a $5 lunch special with a sandwich and side and maybe a drink. As for prices, you get what you pay for. I am willing to pay more for really good ingredients. I would not eat in due to annoying fluorescent lighting (this was the "old" subway location.) and it was super warm in there (pizza ovens were busy), and the door is opening and closing every 30 seconds for carry out orders. They do have a beer and wine if you can't wait to get your pizza home. FYI You can fit only 10-12 people.

Excellent pizza and service. Tried the Oley's pizza and it was fantastic with a glass of wine. Highly recommend.

Best Pizza we have had since we moved to the area and we live just down the road and didn't even know it was here! I owned a small pizza place for many years and I could not have made a better pizza myself. My husband and I are thrilled we found this place and will be regulars! the staff was friendly, the ingredients were fresh, the sauce amazing, and THANK YOU for using real mozzarella cheese!!! We will send our friends here!

The best pizza in Green Bay! Fresh ingredients! We order from there once a month. Friendly staff too.

Pizza was very good. A place that is more "cranky" is better. And a place that is very "rustic" beats Oley's. However, if you want good pizza stop in. Deli selection looked good as well.

I've been sitting here waiting for 25 minutes at the restaurant. We're the only ones here and we've ordered two sandwiches. There are four people working; one is staring at the TV, two others are discussing the absurdity of spending $25 on a pizza served with paper plates. I imagine the last person is baking our sandwich bread. I'm not sure how they will taste but it's possible I may not make it. If you read this, eat something before you come to hold you over. Also, tell my mom I love her. *EDIT* So, the owner emails me a few days after my review. Not happy about the poor rating. Obviously my review was a bit tongue in cheek but factual. You can tell from their comment on my review - They wrote me stating things like: Your review doesn't comment on the food. --The food was adequate. My sausage was cased well and had a nice snap to it. The bread was pretty good. Crunchy outside / chewing inside. Sauce was cold and tasted like it was from a can. If I was rating food alone, I'd give it 3/5. Your order was put in and rang up 29 minutes later; it didn't take so long. --This is misleading as my order was taken on a notepad so the time it was entered was not the time I ordered it. We both know this. I checked in on my phone so I knew exactly how long I waited (as the only customer) in the store for two sandwiches. This time is unacceptable. You didn't comment about the cleanliness of the store. --Not good. There were at least two tables piled with garbage from others. We were fortunate to find a table that wasn't covered in discarded food and paper plates from previous visitors. I wish I would've taken a picture to prove my point. Maybe I should've also commented about how your men's room was locked from the inside and inaccessible so I had to use the women's room (twice in my hour long sandwich stop). Related note - you should fix your women's room paper towel dispenser so a person doesn't have to crank it 11 times for one paper towel. Also, something may be wrong with sewage because there was a nauseating smell in there. Honestly, at first when the owner wrote me, pleading their case about why 1-star wasn't justified, I thought - whatever, just a local business owner on an off day, maybe i'll just delete it. But now come some childish comments that you might find on a Kitchen Nightmares episode. Also - I'm not alone. Look at some other review "they are disorganized" "waited 20-25 minutes in the store waiting on my pizza" "although friendly, service was slow" another writes about 10 minutes after the hour delivery quoted getting a call saying they don't know when they'll be there. This isn't an isolated incident. Feedback is a gift. Take it and work on it. We sat there for an eternity waiting. We stared at you, your coworkers, the woman at the counter watching TV. Looking for any kind of sign. Maybe I should have said more than "ok" when you asked how it was? No, maybe you should've said something and acknowledged us. Not that hard to drop a 'it's just going to be a few more minutes" or "sorry it's taking so long". You admit you knew something was wrong but didn't want to engage. You didn't care about us then. You only cared about us when this review was posted. Maybe next time I should get pizza; the pictures sure make it look good. Maybe next time you won't take a half hour for my sandwich. Maybe next time you'll clean off tables, unlock the bathroom, and pretend I'm there. But I'm not going to find out.

I was preparing last night to write a really horrible review for Oley's. You see, we ordered for delivery. It was a long delivery window anyway (1 hour). But 10 minutes after our delivery window was up, we received a call from Oley's saying that the person delivering was going to be late, because the first delivery was far away. He wasn't sure when it would get to us. He was very apologetic, and explained that he would have taken it himself, but he would have had to close the shop. I understood, but when the food didn't show up for another 30 minutes, I was fuming mad (also, very hungry). Since this order wasn't exactly cheap ($48.00 for two pies, garlic bread and a large salad), I was prepared to mercilessly scathe Oley's in this review... tepid pizza, COOL garlic bread, wilty and warm salad. 1 hour and 40 minutes after I ordered, this restaurant that is a mere 8 minutes from our house showed up with our order. But heres the thing... the pizza was really delicious. Like, really good guys. The pineapple on my hawaiian pizza was juicy and delicious and the ham was crisp on the edges and rich in flavor. The cheese to sauce ratio was just right, and the sauce was zesty and sweet in all the right ways. The crust had the delightful char of a shop that knows how to make pizza. I love garlic bread even though it is completely absurd to get it with pizza, and this did not disappoint. It had a wonderful crustiness with a punch of garlic flavor, without being sour and overbearing. The cannoli that we ordered (chocolate dipped with pistachio) was authentic. A crunchy shell, and delightfully creamy filling that was perfectly sweet. My husband and mother seemed to love the sausage and pepperoni pie. Even a day later, I cannot find it in my heart to even drop one star off the review, even though we didn't even get dressing with our spinach and tortellini salad (it was a really delicious salad even with our plain-old fridge caesar)! I would guess that this was a delivery anomaly, but I will be sure to inform you if it isn't because I will DEFINITELY be ordering from Oley's again.

Soooo we are visiting from Southern California and have been using yelp to find little places with good food that we would find at home and we are so glad we stopped here for dinner. Ordered a large thick crust pepperoni pie and lasagna using the yelp coupon it came to $25 bucks, the food came hot and delicious. Cheese cheese and more cheese... Lasagna was the bomb and came with garlic bread that was soft and crunchy all at once. Our son made fast friends with the bosses son which was great listening to those to talking :0) We came on a Friday night and were able to find seating inside which was nice, and we watched several to go orders get picked up... We will definitely put this on our list of places to eat when we visit again! Yum!!!

Good pizza made with high quality ingredients. My only complaint, which happens at a lot of mom and pop places, is that they are disorganized. Several times they have been way off on their pickup times. I've waited 20-25 minutes in the store waiting on my pizza. But they make a good pie.

Great Pizza. Fair price and friendly service. We would stop again if ever in this area.

Stopped in on 3/10/14 to try out their pizza. I saw it had good reviews so we decided to see for ourselves. The reviews were right! We had the "special". It's a sausage and mushroom pizza. It had the perfect blend of sauce and was very cheesy. The crust was not doughy and had just the right amount of browning/crispness that we all enjoyed. The sausage wasn't greasy either like some places. Oley's claims to use fresh ingredients and I believe they do. Next time we have a craving for pizza, we're going to Oley's!

We tried 3 of their pizza offerings, all were fantastic. Excellent meats, cheeses, and veggies. Crispy crust, great sauce. Leave room for dessert or take home a cannoli. Ali and Rebecca are very warm and welcoming. Can't wait to return.

Had the margherita pizza and it is phenomenal! Highly Recommended, and very decently priced.

Oh My God. Tried it for the first time on 08/26... I have to say, when it comes to Margherita pizzas, I'm a bit of a snob (having had a few in Italy), and it was SO GOOD!! And they delivered sooner than I had anticipated. Will definitely have Oley's again! ... They've done it again!! Another great pizza!!! O. M. G. Build your own w/ the pesto sauce - to die for!!! I'm in heaven :-) I've even told my family & friends to try it out!

The best pizza I've ever had. Sounds cliche but I mean it. Better than any place in Chicago or Los Angeles that I've tried. Super crust that's light and crisp but not like a cracker. The magarita pizza is delicious and I use it to intro this place to friends. Friendly staff that does what it can to help. Clean and nicely decorated. Try the pizza by the slice for lunch. Big slice for a good price. Leave your money and take the cannoli.

I really hope this place succeeds the Pizza is good, the ingredients are very top notch. I wasn't fan of the balsamic glaze they use on the margherita, but i loved the other 3 pizzas. The desserts are really, really great.

My first time here just running in nick of time to grab some food for dinner. Had a salad. It was great, fresh ingredients just right amount of seasoning. Next time I will try other things from the menu. They deliver too! They are locally owned, use natural ingredients.

When we moved to Wisconsin 10 years ago, we were dismayed to discover that restaurants here did not "get" good pizza. I'm happy to say that is no longer the case now that Oley's has opened! Crust is huge in what makes a good pizza and Oley's crust is perfect - thin with just the right amount of crunch! I've tried the margarita pizza and a make my own creation - both were delicious! Sadly, I have yet to try a cannoli but have no doubt that I will not always be able to resist! I know the restaurant business is tough but I hope Oley's makes it - we'll do our best to make that happen!

I LOVE Oleys food. The customer service is top notch. The food is fresh and I can taste the freshness. I like everything on the menu. I get it delivered and like that as well. Their drivers are in well kept vehicles in my mind, a well kept vehicle, great employees, and fantastic food is a perfect mix. You will not be disappointed in anything you. choose. I guarantee it.

Pretty decent little place. Great hoagie, geez it was massive! But amazingly enough I don't feel crazy full. My dad got their salad and he said it was amazing. They also make handmade pizza's, and their claim to fame is all natural and local. I love supporting local businesses that are healthy, and Oley's are also about supporting local biz too. Place is tiny, can only accommodate maybe 25 people at most, but that's not bad. Location is great though, close to the HS and Piggly Wiggly. All in all a great little place to grab some dinner. :)

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
